I’m currently PhD student in microbiology at the IRHS of Angers (France), where I’m working on the assembly of the microbiota during seed development. The main goal of my thesis is to better understand the ecological processes involved in this assembly in order to help in the design of beneficial microbial inoculants for crops.

Skills : Bar-Seq, plant-microbes interactions, profiling and ecology of microbial communities, seed microbiome.

Background :

2018 : Intern at the IRHS (Research Institute on Horticulture and Seeds, Angers, France). Topic: "Dynamics of the microbiota of plants during seed development". Skills : microbiology, profiling and ecology of microbial communities, qPCR analysis, seed transmission.

2017 : Intern at the Sainsbury laboratory of the University of Cambridge (UK). Topic: "Medicago truncatula symbiosis mutants affected in the interaction with the filamentous pathogen Phytophthora palmivora". Skills : bacterial transformation and cloning, confocal microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, Gibson assembly, qPCR analysis.
