After completing my BSc and MSc at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, I obtained my Ph.D. in Microbiology at Paris-Saclay University in 2019, where I investigated bacteroid differentiation in Bradyrhizobium-Aeschynomene symbioses.

As a postdoctoral researcher at Aarhus University, I explored the functional capacities and competitiveness of root colonizers using synthetic communities.

In 2024, I became a researcher at INRAE and I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship to develop in situ microbiome editing strategies for seed-associated microbial communities.
